Acceptable Use & AI-Generated Content Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026 (draft)
1. Why this policy exists
Ad Flow Pilot makes ads with AI. These rules reduce the risk that an ad is unlawful, misleading or unsafe; they don't replace your own check of the rules for your industry.
2. Make ads only for what you may advertise
Your own products, services, brand and business, or those of a client who has authorised you.
3. Not allowed on Ad Flow Pilot (we block these even if you think an exception applies): - tobacco and alcohol, including surrogate ads; betting, gambling and online money games; prescription medicines and "magic remedy" claims; weapons; political or election ads; crypto-assets; - anything the ad platforms' own advertising policies ban; - false or misleading ads, or claims you cannot back up (prices, discounts, results, comparisons, health or financial claims); - using a real person's name, face, voice or likeness without permission, or pretending to be a real person or brand (including look-alikes and sound-alikes); - another company's logo, trademark, product design or copyrighted material without permission; - hateful, abusive, sexual or violent content, or content targeting people for religion, caste, gender, community or another personal trait; - children shown in an unsafe or inappropriate way; - the national flag, the Ashoka Chakra, national emblems, protected names or religious figures used commercially, until we have cleared a specific template; - content made to deceive voters, spread false news or impersonate a public authority. Laws that apply include the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the CCPA Guidelines on misleading advertisements (2022) and on dark patterns (2023), the ASCI Code, the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950, the Flag Code of India, the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
4. Your responsibility for claims
Before an ad is made you confirm each claim it makes. Keep evidence for every factual claim (price, discount, result, comparison) and add the disclosures the law or ASCI requires. A small-print line such as "T&C apply" cannot fix a misleading main claim.
5. AI-generated content
- Ads made with Ad Flow Pilot are AI-generated, and some include AI presenters (avatars), voices and music.
- Each ad carries a visible "AI-generated" label and hidden provenance data. Don't remove or hide them.
- Never present an AI presenter as a real customer, a real expert or a real testimonial. Fabricated testimonials are not allowed, even if labelled.
- If you upload an existing ad to dub or change it, you must hold the rights in it and the written consent of the people who perform in it.
- Follow each platform's rules on AI-generated content. AI output can contain mistakes — watch every ad before you publish it.
6. What we do
We check uploads for faces and third-party logos, block words, categories and themes we consider unsafe, and may refuse an ad that breaks this policy (no credits are used for an ad we refuse before it is made). Automated checks can miss things; we may ask you for evidence or permissions. We may suspend accounts that break this policy (Terms §14).
7. Report a problem
To report an ad or content that misuses your rights, email support@adflowpilot.com with what it is (job or link), which right is affected and how to reach you. We may pause it while we check and tell the account holder where it is safe to do so. Urgent reports (impersonation, intimate images, child safety) are handled at once; we never ask for more identity documents than we need.
